| Delta Driftwood is located in northern California where the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers meet and eventually feed into the San Pablo and San Francisco Bays. These great rivers originate in two of the most beautiful places in North America: Yosemite to the east and Lake Shasta to the north. The variety of hardwoods and orchard woods washed and shaped along literally thousands of miles of rivers and tributaries make our driftwood some of the country's finest. Our Pieces are chosen with a discriminating eye! Only pieces that are strong, firm and have an appealing color and texture are offered. Most pieces don't need it, but those that do are pressure cleaned and then disinfected with a non-irritant wash to rid them of any contaminants that are unwanted. You can be assured that Delta Driftwood's inventory is not picked-over or just average wood. All our wood comes from sandy beaches that are accessible only by boat. We take great pride in the pieces we select and will only offer pieces we would place in our own home or use in our own projects. We look forward to our fifth year of bringing you this treasure from California. |
